Main Street Ozark

Main Street Ozark

The Main Street Program is a revitalization strategy used in over 1,200 cities and 40 states. Developed by the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s National Main Street Center, the program encourages imaginative use of business and government resources to support local downtown and neighborhood commercial district revitalization efforts. The Main Street approach is based on four points and relies on eight guiding principles to produce fundamental change in traditional commercial business districts. In 2015, the Center launch a new program brand for the network of Main Street programs to reinvigorate out collective, look, feel, and strategy to position Main Street as a leader locally, regionally, and nationally.
